Rainy Days!

Well, it looks like plans of outdoor BBQs and beachy 4th of July celebrations may be out of the question this year. Just like you, my family had a full weekend planned out, mostly consisting of outdoor activities. It seems like the rain has moved in and our plans must change. Don't let a wet weekend ruin your fun. Here are our top ideas for rainy day fun:

*Catch a fireworks show...The PC fireworks are still on (rain or shine) for Thurs night. (most others have been cancelled)
#1 Gulf World is open everyday, rain or shine. They have lots of fun things to do and see.

#5 Movie Day~Be sure to check out Tues and Wed morning kids movies for a deal ! Or how about a new film in IMAX at the GRAND? Remember the cheap theatre in PC has $2 movies always, and $1 movies at 1pm Mon-Fri.
#6 Indoor Glow in the Dark Putt Putt at Race City
#7 Man of the Sea Museum
#8 Discovery Science Museum in PC
#9 Panama City Mall
#10 Check out the little shops along the beach
#11 Art Class
#12 Seabreeze Winery
#13 Shipwreck Island...most days they are still open if its just a sprinkle here and there with NO lightning. Coupons available at Walmart for $5  off.
#14 Visit some of our fine restaurants
#15 Bowling at Rockit Lanes

#17 The Haunted House at Race City
#18 Make some Jewelry at the Sterling Sun (next to Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant)
#19 Eden Gardens (of course you don't want to tour the gardens, but you can still tour the wonderful Southern Plantation home)
#20 Get a new do! Try a hair cut from one of the many salons on the beach.
#21 Mani/Pedi's for everyone!
#22 Try a relaxing massage at Massage Envy/Pier Park
#23 Explore Alvin's Island Magic Mountain (my kids could literally stay in there for hours! Make sure to go through the MTN...ask an associate if you can't find the entrance..it is located upstairs)
#24 Explore the stores and restaurants of St. Andrews or Downtown PC
#25 Rent some Redbox movies and order in (anything from Captain Anderson's to go to delivery pizza)
#26 If your condo offers an indoor pool, how about an indoor swimming day?
